Following the world premiere of BIG CITY DREAMS in 2024 by SymbiosisDuo artists Dr. Gail Robertson and Dr. Stacy Baker, along with Dr. Kazuo Murakami, at the International Women’s Brass Conference in Mito City, Japan, I decided to release this version for my corno compadres. It is a programmatic work following the hopes, emotional journey, and achievements of two characters, portrayed by the horn and tuba. With the piano playing the third character of the calling metropolis, BIG CITY DREAMS is a tribute to individuals everywhere, whose aspirations, tenacity, and tireless spirit make our world a better and happier place.
