BIG CITY DREAMS was given its world premiere in 2024 by SymbiosisDuo artists Dr. Gail Robertson and Dr. Stacy Baker, along with Dr. Kazuo Murakami, at the International Women’s Brass Conference in Mito City, Japan. It is a programmatic work following the hopes, emotional journey, and achievements of two characters, portrayed by the euphonium and tuba. With the piano playing the third character of the calling metropolis, BIG CITY DREAMS is a tribute to individuals everywhere, whose aspirations, tenacity, and tireless spirit make our world a better and happier place.
